As the voice of Louisiana’s economic development professionals, LEAD was actively engaged during the 2025 legislative session, advocating for policies that position our state for long-term prosperity. Our 2025 priorities focused on supporting measures that provide LED with the flexibility and agility needed to compete, securing funding for site readiness, expanding the workforce pipeline, and enhancing tax and business competitiveness.

The 2026 Regular Legislative Session in Louisiana will convene at noon on March 9, 2026, and is scheduled to adjourn no later than 6:00 PM on June 1, 2026.
